Before Saunders Digital, there were two businesses – Saunders Design and Saunders Cloud. With such rapid growth and demand for marketing and cloud-based services, these offerings soon overlapped, with clients of one brand also requiring the other. When their director, Jake Saunders, merged the two original businesses to become Saunders Digital, I was brought on board to write the new website copy.
I wanted Saunders Digital’s website visitors to perceive his marketing and cloud services as a wise investment as part of their business growth plans. To do this, I wrote an educational copy about the benefits of each service and where they fit in with the client’s long-term goals. I explained how Jake and his team work proactively as their client’s dedicated digital partner, rather than a one-time-only supplier.
Saunders Digital’s new website copy is easy to read, purpose-driven and conveys the tangible benefits of each service offering. The links between the two arms of the business are even stronger, so Jake can upsell Cloud with his Marketing services. Whether or not a website visitor has prior digital marketing knowledge, they’ll be able to understand that a newly built website needs cloud solutions in order to exist online and run more effectively.
